ABH Ukraine Limited, the Shareholder of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine), Has Completed the Acquisition of UniСredit Leasing UkraineAt the end of January 2017, the sole shareholder of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine), ABH Ukraine Limited, completed a deal with UniCredit Leasing S.p.A. on acquisition of UniCredit Leasing Ltd. (a leasing company). The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition of UniCredit Leasing is an instance of on-going process of having the ABH Ukraine’s inorganic growth strategy in place. This will allow increasing its loan portfolio, attracting new customers, involving professionals and making the best use of the European company’s experience.
Following the deal, UniCredit Leasing was named "Neos Leasing".
This deal is the proof of business partnership between the two global financial giants: ABH Holdings S.A. and UniCredit. It is relevant to remind that at the end of October 2016, UniCredit Group and ABH Holdings S.A. completed the deal under which UniCredit Group transferred 99.9% of shares in Ukrsotsbank in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH.
UniСredit Leasing has operated in the Ukrainian market since 2006, being engaged in leasing of agricultural machinery, transport devices, construction machinery and industrial equipment.
