PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" (Ukraine) Announces the Appointment of General Manager

On January 19, 2017, Dmytry Serezhin was appointed as General Manager of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" (Ukraine). Previously, he acted as the first Deputy chairman of the Management Board of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine).

Dmytry Serezhin has two diplomas and a vast expertise in banking sector. He has been working in Ukraine since February 2012. During 5 years he supervised financial services, treasury and operations on financial markets at Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) and was responsible for the Bank’s strategy.

Before arriving to Ukraine, Dmytry Serezhin held various positions in major Russian banks. For the last 6 years before coming to Ukraine, he served as CFO at Alfa-Bank (Russia).

"It is a new equally demanding and satisfying step for me to become General manager of a Ukrainian bank with 26-years-long history and a million of customers, – said Dmytry Serezhin, – Now we are going through a crucial period of integration of two banks, which will soon form the largest private bank in the country. Given the importance of this challenging enterprise for our team and, furthermore, for Ukraine’s economy, we will do everything possible to ensure recovery and growth of economy in Ukraine."

Dmytry Serezhin will focus on the development of the Bank's strategy and its subsequent execution within the overall strategy of the Group, whereas Tamara Savoshchenko will remain Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" (Ukraine). Thus, the managerial structure of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" (Ukraine) gets aligned with the corporate standard of ABH Holdings S.A. (ABHH), the ultimate shareholder of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" (Ukraine) and Alfa-Bank (Ukraine).

In October 2016, ABH Holdings S.A. and UniCredit Group announced the closing of the deal to transfer 99.9% of shares in Public Joint Stock Company “Ukrsotsbank” (UCG asset in Ukraine) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH.

(АВНН) in exchange for a minority 9.9% stake in ABHH.
