X5 Retail Group operates several retail formats, including the chain of conveniently located proximity stores under the Pyaterochka brand, the supermarket chain under the Perekrestok brand, the hypermarket chain under the Karusel brand and Express convenience stores.

The Group's Revenue reached RUR 1,033,667 mln (US $15,420 mln) in 2016. Total net selling space exceeded 4.3 mln m2 as of 31 December 2016. In 2016, over 3.0 billion people shopped at the Group's stores. More than 196 thousand people work at the Group. As of 31 December 2016, the total number of the Group's stores was 9,187 (including Express convenience stores).

Pyaterochka

Pyaterochka, a chain of conveniently located proximity stores, is one of Russia’s leading retail brands.

Pyaterochka stores are focused on easy and economical shopping, located primarily in residential areas and close to shopper’s homes, where customers can always find quality goods at reasonable prices. The stores’ range consists on average of approximately 4,000 SKUs, with an average net selling space of approximately 398 square meters. As of 31 December 2016, 8,363 stores operated under the Pyaterochka brand.

 

Perekrestok

Perekrestok is the leading national supermarket chain in Russia.

Perekrestok strives to be the customer’s first choice for fresh products supported by the right complementary assortment and pricing strategy. The stores offer an assortment of 8,000 to 15,000 SKUs with net selling space ranging from 800 to 1,600 square meters. As of 31 December 2016, 539 stores operated under the Perekrestok brand.

 

Karusel

Karusel is one of the largest hypermarket chains currently operating on the Russian market.

Karusel stores offer customers convenient one-stop shopping at fair prices in city locations with a wide range of quality food and non-food products, efficient service at cash registers, engaging weekly catalogues and a loyalty program.The stores target an average net selling space of 4,252 square meters and carry an average 20,000 SKUs. As of 31 December 2016, 91 stores operated under the Karusel brand.
