Alfa Bank's Tier One Capital figure should have been $362m and not the $262m quoted. Therefore Alfa Bank's ranking in Russia would have been 7^th moving above Globexbank and Bank of Moscow and world ranking is 635^th. According to Alice Partridge, Deputy Research Editor at The Banker, "The odd mistake is made and we take full responsibility". The Banker will publish a correction in August issue verifying where Alfa Bank should have been in the listing.
