New TNK Brand Website Launched 07 Nov 2006
On November 7, the new TNK brand website was launched. It is meant to support the visual and qualitative change recently undergone by TNK brand.
It was in May 2006 that the new TNK Look and Feel was first presented to the general public. The already familiar blue and white color scheme was supplemented by orange, standing for vivacity and energy, and ‘refreshing, positive, professional and reliable’ have become key attributes of the new TNK brand.
‘Given that the TNK brand has materially changed, we have taken a decision to do more than just create a new website version. The new brand required brand-new Internet coverage with its design showcasing the unique emotional attributes of the brand – vivacity and energy’, says Julia Semenko, VP PR & Public Relations, TNK-BP Ukraine.
The new website is largely meant for motorists. On the website, you can always find some relevant information on TNK retail sites, fuel, services and promos held. There is a special section for TNK ‘brand believers’ – ‘TNK World’ where all promotional, public and sports events held under the TNK brand are covered. Special attention is given to business partners – key principles of the new jobber program are fully listed on the site, and the site is regularly quoting large wholesale prices for refined products.
The new site is developed by the Lebedev Studio (Russia, Moscow). Working on this site was another step along the path of successful and fruitful cooperation between the design studio and the oil company. ‘It was very interesting for us to work on this project’, says Daria Sviridova, Head of Customer Relations Team at the Lebedev Studio. ‘Being tightly bound by the TNK trademark style, we were able to create an interesting, bright and a highly functional site. Day by day, it will be evolving and will become even better’.
