TNK-Nyagan Receiving International Certificate

A business control system that meets international and national standards, ISO 14001:1996 and OHSAS-18001:1999, in management of HSE risks in the field of crude oil and gas production, pumping, processing and transfer was established by TNK-BP's subsidiary, TNK-Nyagan OJSC, which makes up part of the Nyagan business unit. Such resolution was made by an expert team of the Russian Register Association and SAI Global on July 23, 2004. To confirm compliance, SAI Global and IQNet registration certificates were issued for TNK-Nyagan OJSC on August 17, 2004. They testify to the fact that the management system at TNK-Nyagan OJSC meets the requirements of ISO 14001:1996 and OHSAS 18001:1999. For TNK-Nyagan OJSC it is another milestone in the process of the quality management system expansion and improvement. On July 17, 2003, the company was certified under the ISĪ9001-2000 quality management system and confirmed its compliance with it on July 23, 2004. Available information suggests that TNK-Nyagan OJSC is probably the only oil and gas producer in Russia that has in place three certificates confirming availability of quality management systems as well as the HSE systems which meet international standards.
