Number of Kyivstar Company subscribers on the 1st of November 2006

As of November 1st, 2006 the number of Kyivstar network subscribers is 18,256 million of people, from which:

Contract and corporate

Ace&Base

DJUICE

1,186 million

9,552 million

7,518 million

Correspondingly the total number of pre-paid services users (Ace&Base and DJUICE) is 17,070 million of people.

When calculating the subscribers’ base the Kyivstar Company uses methodology accepted by all Telenor International Telecommunication Group companies operating in 12 countries of the world. According to this methodology active subscribers are all contract subscribers with who contract currently in force is made. The subscribers of pre-paid services who during the latest three months have made at least one call (incoming or outgoing), or have sent at least one text message, or have deposited funds to his or her account are also considered to be active subscribers. In case pre-paid subscribers don’t make any of the actions listed above during the period of three months, he or she doesn’t count during calculation of Kyivstar subscribers’ base.

Kyivstar
