Best Legal Departments of Russia in 2006 06 Oct 2006
On September 26, 2006, the best legal departments of Russia, chosen according to the results of studies conducted by the Corporate Lawyer magazine and Pynes & Moerner, were awarded at a victory ceremony held in the Marriott Grand Hotel. The Legal Service of TNK-BP was named the best legal department of Russia in the Oil and Gas nomination.
Partners, advisors and senior attorneys of large Russian and international legal companies and the legal services of major Russian companies took part in the studies. The participants included the legal services of companies like OJCS GMK Norilsk Nickel, OJSC Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods, OJSC Vympelcom, OJSC MKhK EuroKhim, OJSC Vneshtorgbank, OJSC Rosno, Troika Dialog Group, and Renaissance Capital Group. The studies analyzed the activities of the legal services of 24 major Russian companies.
