VimpelCom to release fourth quarter and audited annual 2006 financial and operating results on Thursday, April 12, 2007

Moscow and New York (April 5, 2007) — Open Joint Stock Company "Vimpel-Communications" ("VimpelCom" or the "Company") (NYSE: VIP), announced today that it will webcast its conference call on its fourth quarter and annual 2006 financial and operating results on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time (10:30 a.m. ET). The conference call will be hosted by Alexander Izosimov, Chief Executive Officer. He will be joined by Elena Shmatova, Chief Financial Officer, Nikolay Pryanishnikov, Executive Vice President – General Director, Regions; and Kent McNeley, Chief Marketing Officer. The press release announcing the Company’s fourth quarter and annual 2006 financial results will be available on the Company's web site, located at http://www.vimpelcom.com, prior to the conference call.
The Company's management will discuss its fourth quarter and annual 2006 results during a conference call and slide presentation. The call and slide presentation may be accessed via webcast at the following URL address http://www.vimpelcom.com.
