JP Morgan Chase Bank honored Alfa Bank with Elite Quality Recognition Award

During the last visit of JP Morgan Chase Bank representatives, Alfa Bank was honored with Elite Quality Recognition Award in the category of "US Dollar Clearing." Mrs. Natalia Kroupnova, Vice President at JP Morgan Chase Bank, Moscow and her London colleague Mr. Peter Vernon, Vice President, Treasury Services handed over the award to Mr. Miroslav Boublik, Alfa Bank's Chief Operating Officer.

Mrs. Kroupnova said that based on the performance results in 2003 Alfa Bank was named among the best correspondent banks for the extremely high volume of USD straight-through payments. The word "Elite" in the award is a testimony to the fact that the quality level goes beyond 99%.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Boublik said that the award by JP Morgan Chase Bank demonstrates a high degree of appreciation for Alfa Bank's work in the clearing market. "We are confident that the noted professionalism of Alfa-Bank's team will continue to satisfy the highest international standards", - underlined Miroslav Boublik. During the meeting Alfa Bank and JP Morgan Chase Bank discussed their current relationship and prospects for further development.

Early in 2002 and 2003, Alfa Bank also won Quality Recognition Awards by JP Morgan Chase.
