The official Awards Ceremony for the “Company of the Year 2006” National Prize in the field of business took place on 28 November 2006. TNK-BP was announced the winner in the “Fuel and Energy Complex” nomination.
‘Victory in the “Company of the Year” awards is evidence of the high assessment of the quality of our work in such a technological and resource-rich sector as the fuel and energy complex,’ said TNK-BP Vice-President Vladimir Ruga. ‘I view the award of this prestigious national prize as the result of the well—coordinated work of the many thousands of employees at TNK-BP. I wish to express my gratitude to the producers, process engineers, refiners, managers – put simply, all the oil experts at TNK-BP thanks to whom the company was able to achieve such results.’
Information about the prize
The objective of the “Company of the Year” National Prize, organized by RIA RosBusinessConsulting, is to assist in attracting investment in the Russian economy, and help nominee companies expand their business and increase their reputation and competitiveness on the Russian and external markets. In terms of the nature and level of the resources involved in carrying it out, this public action is unique in Russia. Since 2002 the “Company of the Year” Prize has been awarded under the auspices of the RF Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, and prize laureates are conferred with the status of priority enterprise in the realization of investment projects.
