Alfa Group Chairman to Receive Prestigious Achievement Award in Washington with 20 other World Political, Business and Social Leaders

Confirmed recipients of the 2003 Award, who will attend the Summit in Washington along with Mikhail Fridman, are:

  • Dr. Lynne Cheney, Wife of US Vice President Richard Cheney H. E. Ricardo Lagos, President of Chile;
  • H. E. Alvaro Uribe, President of Colombia;
  • H. E. Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey;
  • Leonard Lauder, Chairman and CEO, the Estee Lauder Co.;
  • US Senator John McCain;
  • US Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton;
  • US Supreme Court Justice Anton Scalia.
Past Honorees who will attend the Summit include:
  • Ehud Barak, Former Prime Minister of Israel;
  • William Clinton, Former US President;
  • Olivia de Havilland, Actress;
  • Coretta Scott King, Wife of Martin Luther King;
  • Colin Powell, US Secretary of State.
