The Lisichansk Oil Refinery has been awarded OHSAS 18000

The Lisichansk Oil Refinery (LLC “LINOS”)  became the first in the Lugansk Region and the fifteenth enterprise in Ukraine to be awarded a certificate of the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series OHSAS 18000.

Its introduction followed the basic quality management standard ISO 9001:2000 which LINOS received in late March of the current year. However, if ISO 9001:2000 was awarded to hundreds of the Ukrainian enterprises, the standard on Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series OHSAS 18000 is still very rare. “Having received the certificate, our enterprise confirmed that the Occupational Health and Safety System for our employees corresponds to the highest world standards.

Certification procedures on Environment Management Systems ISO 14001 will be the second stage. We shall be working to introduce the Total Quality Management System (TQM) at our enterprise – the highest international standard in this sphere”, — noted the General Director of LINOS Alexander Ivanov.
