X5 Managers Ranked Number One in Kommersant Rating

Moscow, 26 September 2008 – X5 Retail Group N.V., Russia's largest retailer in terms of sales (LSE ticker: “FIVE”), announced today that the Company’s top managers were ranked Number one in various nominations of Retail category in the yearly rating of Kommersant newspaper*. 

Lev Khasis, X5 Retail Group CEO, was named Number one in the nomination for Executive Managers in Retail category. 

Yuri Kobaladze, X5 Corporate Affairs Director, won the nomination for Public and Corporate Relations Directors in Retail category. 

Teimur Shternlib, the CIO of X5, was recognized as the best in the nomination for IT Directors in Retail category.
