Tvoya Kompaniya magazine Recognized Best Corporate Edition in Russia in 2003
26 Mar 2004

Last Friday, on March 19, TNK-BP's corporate magazine, Tvoya Kompaniya, was awarded a diploma of Golden Gong, an all-Russian journalists' contest, in the special category of the Best Corporate Edition. "We are faced with a fairly complex task - to cover operations in the Company with 115,000 employees. At the same time, the magazine should be interesting for every employee - both for the President and for a worker in the field. This is a major responsibility for us," Mr. Sergey Beldinskiy, Deputy Director, Department for Russian Mass Media and Public Relations of TNK-BP, said at the awarding ceremony. Founders and arrangers of Golden Gong are the Alliance of Top Managers of Russia's Regional Mass Media (ARS-PRESS) and Republic agency. Editorial offices, Internet editions, publishing houses, and individual journalists from printed media are among its participants. As arrangers testify, numerous works from Russia's distant regions, such as Primorie, Magadan, and the Tyumen Region, became a peculiarity of Golden Gong 2003. Journalists of not only top national editions but also those from regional, municipal, and rural newspapers applied for participation in the contest. This year, the organizational committee has received approx. 3,000 works by journalists from 73 regions of Russia. Works have been assessed by a competent jury of 10, including general managers of such editions as Izvestiya, Komsomolskaya Pravda, and Rossiiskaya Gazeta. The jury was chaired by Mr. Yasen Zasurskiy, Dean of MSU's (Lomonosov University) School of Journalism.
