TNK-BP Concludes 3 Year Software Deal

TNK-BP announced today that it had recently concluded a three-year licence agreement with authorized Microsoft reseller ZAO-I Teco for the use of Microsoft software.

The agreement covers all TNK-BP Group activities and normalizes Microsoft product usage across the three heritage groups that make up the new company; bringing them all up to date and fully compliant.

TNK-BP's Vice-President for Information Technology, Richard Ames said; " I'm very pleased we now have a unified, company wide and up to date licence agreement for our Microsoft usage. We have brought ourselves into full usage compliance and we are working towards taking similar steps forward with our other key suppliers."

TNK-BP is a major, vertically integrated Russian oil and gas company. In 2007, average daily oil production totaled 1.6 million barrels per day (excluding a 50% interest of Slavneft). TNK-BP operates five refineries (four in Russia and one in Ukraine) and nearly 1,600 branded retail outlets across both countries.
