Alfa Bank established the Euro Medium Term Notes (MTN) Programme

The Programme allows to issue notes with different maturities both with fixed and floating rates.

The Programme amount is 400 million USD, i.e. at any time outstanding amount of the notes floating in the market can not exceed 400 million USD.

The issuers under the Programme are Alfa MTN Issuance Limited (Cyprus) and Alfa MTN Markets Limited (Cyprus). ONJC "Alfa Bank" and ABH Financial Limited (BVI) act as the guarantors.

Merrill Lynch International and UBS Investment Bank act as the dealers and joint arrangers of the Programme. The Programme has been rated B by Standard and Poor's and Ba2 by Moody's.

The placement of the notes may start in 2004.

In November 2002 Alfa Bank placed the second issue of 3 years Eurobonds in the amount of 175 million USD. The yield to maturity at the placement was 10,95%. Merrill Lynch International and UBS Investment Bank acted as lead managers and arrangers of the issue.

In June 1997 Alfa Bank placed the first issue of 3 years Eurobonds in the amount of 175 million USD with the coupon of 10,375%. Lead manager of the issue was Goldman Sachs International, paying agent - Bank of New York.
