CJSC Alfa-Bank Ukraine becomes a Public joint stock company (PJSC)

On August 19, 2009, CJSC Alfa-Bank Ukraine, a closed joint stock company, completed the state registration of amendments to its Articles of Association as a result of which CJSC Alfa-Bank Ukraine becomes PJSC Alfa-Bank Ukraine, a public joint stock company. This followed a decision by a General Shareholders Meeting. Changing the bank’s legal status was one of the several measures intended to bring the bank in line with the new requirements of the Laws of Ukraine “On Stock Companies” and “On Banks and Banking”.
