Alfa Bank's Research Team has again been ranked among the top four in Russia by Institutional Investor Magazine
19 Mar 2004

Noted for their accurate and timely forecasts, the bank's senior analysts Chris Weafer (Chief Strategist), Andrei Bogdanov (Telecoms) and Natalia Orlova (Macroeconomics and Banking) have gained a reputation among the financial community for their keen and perceptive analysis of the Russian market. As noted by Alfa Bank President Peter Aven, "this is a clear sign of the Bank's commitment to providing the investment community with the type of high-quality analysis of the growing and maturing Russian economy that creates many investment opportunities". This year's impressive rating also highlights the professionalism of Alfa's analysts, who now frequently speak at conferences and appear in various Russian and foreign media outlets. Institutional Investor's ranking of the EMEA region's best Research Teams, conducted annually since 1965, is based on the opinions of asset managers worldwide. The magazine also named the best Research Teams of investment companies in Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain and Switzerland.
