TNK-BP Senior Appointments

TNK-BP has announced three new appointments to its senior management ranks.

Evgeny Romanov has joined TNK-BP as General Auditor. His background includes senior financial and general management positions in the energy industry, and significant audit experiences as a senior manager in KPMG.

Tom Wright has succeeded Dave Cook as Executive Vice President, Planning and Performance Management. Mr. Wright has held senior BP roles in Commercial Assurance, Finance, and Planning and Performance Management. From 1995 until 2002 he held general management positions in BP's North Sea operations.

Dmitry Manakov has joined TNK-BP as Chief of Staff. He has worked for the past 8 years with McKinsey and Company. consulting group where he has gathered extensive experience in Russian and international projects across a number of major industries.

Robert Dudley commented; " These are three important roles in our company. They each contribute strongly to our drive to improve management information systems and internal processes. The appointments we have made also reflect our commitment to run TNK-BP with a strong and diverse Russian and international management team, aligned in our vision for sustainable future success."

Mr. Dudley also expressed his thanks to outgoing senior executives Dave Cook and Tony Groag (former General Auditor), for their important and valuable contributions to the success of TNK-BP to date.

TNK-BP

TNK-BP is a major, vertically integrated Russian oil and gas company. In 2007, average daily oil production totaled 1.6 million barrels per day (excluding a 50% interest of Slavneft). TNK-BP operates five refineries (four in Russia and one in Ukraine) and nearly 1,600 branded retail outlets across both countries.
