Alfa-Eco aquires stake in SUN Inrerbrew

The Alfa-Eco Group has acquired Sun Interbrew GDRs, representing 10.4 percent of the voting shares in the company (2 896 531 Class B shares). Thus, the Group has become the third largest voting shareholder in Sun Interbrew. The Group has announced its intention to take part in managing Sun Interbrew. The acquisition is due to the Group's intention to take a leading position on the Russian and the CIS beer markets.
