VimpelCom extends Amdocs billing implementation with Amdocs ClarifyCRM to achieve true integrated customer management

MOSCOW, Russia, and ST. LOUIS, MO - March 16, 2004 - "Vimpel-Communications" ("VimpelCom") (NYSE: VIP), a leading provider of telecommunications services in Russia, and Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the world's leading provider of billing and CRM for true integrated customer management, today announced that VimpelCom has successfully deployed Amdocs ClarifyCRM.

By implementing Amdocs ClarifyCRM, VimpelCom becomes the first Russian wireless telecommunications company to deploy an integrated customer management solution. Amdocs ClarifyCRM consolidates VimpelCom's customer data onto a single Amdocs solution for centralized billing and customer care. In particular, Amdocs ClarifyCRM helps VimpelCom to improve handling and analysis of contacts from customers, providing a truly differentiated level of service in the competitive Russian wireless market place.

The initial rollout of Amdocs ClarifyCRM is complete in Moscow and the regional branches of the Central Super Region, currently serving approximately 7 million Bee Line customers. Throughout 2004, VimpelCom intends to deploy Amdocs ClarifyCRM across the remaining super regions of VimpelCom's growing nationwide footprint. This deployment also marks the first CRM system rollout for Amdocs in Russia.
