TNK-BP Became a Laureate of the “Health and Safety 2006” Contest

TNK-BP became a laureate of the “Health and Safety 2006” contest for the best labor safety innovative solution. The company received the second prize in the nomination “Health Protection and Rehabilitation Technologies in Unfavorable Labor Conditions.” TNK-BP was awarded the silver medial of the contest for the project of emergency first aid modernization in industrial conditions at Orenburgneft.

The “Health and Safety” contest is being held for demonstrating the best achievements in ensuring safe labor conditions and personnel health protection and encouraging the persons that made the most important contributions to development of labor safety science and technologies and solution of practical safety problems.

The contests supports the policy of the state and efforts of the society aimed for protecting the health and lives of working people and encouraging people to improve the quality of services, products, scientific studies, and management systems ensuring safe labor conditions.

The “Health and Safety” contest was established in 2005 at the initiative of the ETALON interregional association for promoting safe labor conditions under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, Personal Protective Equipment Association, and the All-Russia Labor Safety Center.

The “Health and Safety” contest is being held annually.
