Best Corporate Mass Media of 2006

The corporate magazine of TNK-BP “Your Company” came out the winner of the All-Russia contest of corporate press “Best Corporate Mass Media of 2006.”

This is the second year of this contest, whose organizers are the Association of Corporate Mass Media in Russia and the MediaHouse Publishers. More than a hundred periodicals and other mass media were presented at the contest. 66 companies, including Gazprom, Aeroflot, Lukoil, Rosgosstrakh, etc., participated in this contest.

The contest had two divisions: Intra-Corporate Mass Media and Client Mass Media.

The “Your Company” magazine received two awards: Grand Prix in the nomination “Intra-Corporate Mass Media. Magazine” and the winner’s certificate in the nomination “Printing Excellence.”

The All-Russia contest of corporate mass media is held every year for encouraging and popularizing professional excellence in this segment of mass media. This contest is intended to establish high standards of corporate journalism and is highly reputed in the professional milieu. In particular, the Kommersant and Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing houses, Russian Public Relations Association, Association of Independent Regional Publishers, International Press Development Institute, etc. are represented in the expert council of the contest.

Awards were distributed on March 24 in Moscow within the framework of the International Conference “Role of Internal Communications and Corporate Mass Media in the Company Strategic Management System.”

TNK-BP

TNK-BP is a major, vertically integrated Russian oil and gas company. In 2007, average daily oil production totaled 1.6 million barrels per day (excluding a 50% interest of Slavneft). TNK-BP operates five refineries (four in Russia and one in Ukraine) and nearly 1,600 branded retail outlets across both countries.
