TNK-BP Concludes Oracle Software Deal

TNK-BP announced today that it had recently concluded a license agreement with authorized Oracle reseller ZAO-IT for the use of Oracle software.

The agreement covers all TNK-BP Group regional activities and optimizes Oracle product usage throughout the company and achieves full license compliance.

TNK-BP’s Vice-President for Information Technology, Richard Ames said; “I am very pleased to have concluded this agreement which is directly aligned with our strategy to standardize application usage and achieve full license compliance.”

TNK-BP is a major, vertically integrated Russian oil and gas company. In 2007, average daily oil production totaled 1.6 million barrels per day (excluding a 50% interest of Slavneft). TNK-BP operates five refineries (four in Russia and one in Ukraine) and nearly 1,600 branded retail outlets across both countries.
